Job summary

Bunnings Warehouse is seeking a Department Manager to lead the ongoing daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management within your specialist area, working closely with fellow Department Managers and reporting to the Operations Manager.

You and your team of 20+ will focus on Best Experience, safety culture, coaching and performance, while delivering strong merchandising, stock accuracy, and loss prevention to meet our service promises.

Qualifications

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment.
• Experience leading teams in retail or high-volume customer-focused organisations.
• Champion a Safe & Secure environment with strong safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment, while also performing duty manager responsibilities, including opening and closing the store across weekdays and weekends.
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance, including engagement, performance conversations and recognition.
• Rostering and strategic planning for your team to deliver on our service promise, driving department sales through merchandising and key metrics.
• Action customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
• Own department stock accuracy including adjustments, replenishment discipline and loss prevention processes.
