Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to lead daily operations, sales and high-volume stock across a specialist area. You’ll manage a team of 20+ and work with Service, Inside the Home and other departments, reporting to the Assistant Site Manager and Site Manager.

You will monitor customer service levels, develop the team, and drive Best Experience through training, safety leadership and strong stock and merchandising practices. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams with a focus on safety and wellbeing.
• Retail experience or high-volume customer-focused organisations preferred.
• Able to manage rosters, stock accuracy and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to ensure safe, engaging store operations and duty manager duties.
• Rostering and strategic planning to deliver service promises.
• Drive department sales through merchandising and KPI monitoring.
• Act on customer feedback to improve the end-to-end experience.
• Own department stock accuracy and loss prevention processes.
