Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to lead daily operations, sales and high‑volume stock management in a busy department. You will manage a 20+ team, drive Best Experience and Safety Culture, and partner with store leadership to deliver outstanding service and availability.

You’ll be responsible for rostering, performance conversations and ensuring strong merchandising, while maintaining stock accuracy and loss prevention. A proactive leader with customer focus is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in retail or high‑volume operations.
• Proven ability to drive customer experience and service.
• Strong stock management and loss prevention knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment and perform duty manager responsibilities.
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance through coaching and recognition.
• Roster and plan to deliver on service promise and drive department sales via merchandising and metrics.
• Act on customer feedback to improve end-to-end customer experience.
• Own department stock accuracy including replenishment and loss prevention.
