Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to lead a 20+ team, drive service standards and manage high-volume stock within a busy department. You will partner with Service, Inside the Home, Builders and more, reporting to the Operations and Complex Managers to grow capabilities and deliver Best Experience.

You will guide rostering, performance conversations, and merchandising excellence while upholding safety and compliance, ensuring strong supplier relationships and customer focus across weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear multiple hats and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment and perform duty manager responsibilities.
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance through engagement and performance management.
• Rostering and strategic planning to deliver on service promises and monitor key metrics.
• Act on customer feedback to improve end-to-end experience.
• Own department stock accuracy including replenishment and loss prevention.
