Job summary

Dental Assistant Network’s Mitchelton centre is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Dental Receptionists to join a full-time position. This role offers stability with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, and a path to expand your skills within a national dental network.

You’ll be the welcoming face of the clinic, handle patient scheduling, payments and inquiries, and support the clinical team with room setup and sterilisation as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous dental/medical reception experience essential.
• Some Dental Assistant knowledge or experience ideally.
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, confident, patient-focused manner.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, including regular rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Front-of-house reception duties, including greeting patients, check-in and check-out.
• Patient scheduling, phone enquiries and appointment coordination.
• Processing payments, health fund claims and patient account queries.
• Delivering a warm, professional first impression for every patient.
• Supporting the clinical team with DA duties when required, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilisation.
• Working collaboratively with dentists and the wider team to keep the clinic running smoothly.

About The Roles Our Mitchelton centre is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Dental Receptionists to join the team in a full-time position!

Availability Required

• Full-time hours across a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
• Regular rotating weekends (not every weekend)
