Job summary

Kincumber Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and seamless journey from enquiry to treatment completion.

Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, handling calls and emails, processing payments, maintaining confidential records, and coordinating with dental staff to optimise patient flow in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Receptionist is preferred.
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and enquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints.
• Process payments, manage billing enquiries, and assist patients with payment plans and verification.
• Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Keep the reception area tidy and organized, ensuring materials are stocked.
• Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office.
