Job summary

Smile Partners Australia is seeking a proactive partnerships professional to grow referrals across Sydney and nearby areas. You will cultivate trust with dentists, practice managers and schools, and you will represent the brand at community events and CPD sessions.

Expect frequent practice visits, cross-functional collaboration with marketing, and input into local offers. A driver’s license and drive across Sydney are required.

Qualifications

• Organised with the capacity to manage visits, events and partnerships.

Smile Partners is a leading orthodontic group founded by specialist orthodontists and business professionals. We look after the business side so our doctors can focus on treating patients. Our partnerships team grows patient referrals by building genuine relationships across the dental and local community.

What you'll be doing

You'll be out most days across our Sydney practice areas, with the occasional trip to our Central Coast practice. Your job is building enough trust with dentists, schools and local businesses that when someone needs orthodontic treatment, we're who they think of.

Build real relationships with dental practices.

Visit regularly, get to know the dentists, practice managers and front desk teams properly, and make referring to us easy.

Connect with the local community.

Schools, local businesses and community organisations. Find the sponsorships and partnerships that get our practice brands known locally.

Help run events.

Community events, workshops and CPD sessions for local dentists.

Shape what you take out with you.

You’ll see first hand what lands and what doesn’t, so you’ll have real input into our local offers, promotions and materials.

Keep track of what's working.

Log visits, referrals and partnerships in the CRM so you can see the difference you’re making.

What we're looking for

• You don't need a sales title. You need to understand dentistry and want more.
• You’ve worked in a dental or orthodontic practice. Treatment coordinator, practice manager, senior reception or dental assisting. You understand how referrals work because you’ve seen them from the inside.
• People trust you. You build rapport easily and you’re comfortable walking into a practice you’ve never been to before.
• You want a step up. This is a genuine move from practice life into a commercial role, and you’re ready for it.
• You’re organised. You can juggle practice visits, events and partnerships without dropping any of them.
• You’ll back yourself. We’ll teach you the commercial side, but you’re the type to spot an opportunity and follow it up.
• Full driver’s licence and happy driving across Sydney.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in an orthodontic practice
• Experience helping organise CPD sessions, community events or practice promotions
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Any experience tracking or reporting on referral sources
