Job summary

Orthocare Orthodontics in Cremorne, NSW, is seeking a warm, reliable Dental/Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time role runs four days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, offering a collaborative team environment and strong emphasis on clinical excellence.

You will assist the orthodontist, greet patients, maintain records, perform basic lab duties, and uphold infection control standards in a modern, patient‑focused setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental/Orthodontic Assistant is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and genuine passion for patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments, prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments.
• Welcome patients and help them feel relaxed and comfortable during visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic dental charts.
• Perform basic laboratory duties.
• Ensure infection control and workplace health and safety standards.

We are currently looking for a warm, reliable, and motivated Dental/Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice in Cremorne, NSW. This is a full-time position working 4 days per week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - offering the opportunity to become part of a supportive team that values collaboration, growth, and workplace culture just as much as clinical excellence.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting the orthodontist during patient appointments by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and providing chairside support

Greeting and welcoming patients, helping them feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their visit

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic dental charts

Performing basic laboratory duties

Ensuring strict compliance with infection control protocols and workplace health and safety standards

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Dental/Orthodontic Assistant, ideally within an orthodontic practice

Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient care

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment

A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the practice
