Job summary

ibis Perth, part of the Accor family, is seeking a Demi Chef to uphold high culinary standards across breakfast, bar menu and function catering at our central Perth hotel.

You will own your station, supervise junior team members, and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure every plate meets quality, freshness and efficiency for our guests.

Full availability is required to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef or line cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Willing to work a rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items across breakfast, dinner, and functions.
• Manage designated prep and cooking stations, keeping them organized.
• Assist with food orders, FIFO stock rotation, and minimize waste.
• Ensure HACCP and WHS compliance and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with F&B team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
