Job summary

Workwear Group, part of Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety, is seeking a Demand Planner in Melbourne. You will develop data-driven demand forecasts across our brands and customers, partnering with Sales, Merchandise and Supply Planning to ensure inventory availability and informed decision-making.

You will analyse drivers, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve forecast quality; contribute to risk and opportunity visibility and forecast accuracy across the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Demand Planning or forecasting.
• Strong forecasting principles: accuracy, bias, trends, seasonality.
• Advanced Excel and demand planning systems skills.
• Commercial acumen to challenge assumptions with data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborative mindset across business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, trends and seasonality.
• Partner with Sales and Merchandise to understand demand drivers and build evidence-based forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; investigate variances and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning to communicate forecast changes, risks and opportunities.
• Support S&OP processes and informed business decisions.
• Participate in scenario planning, NPD, seasonal reviews and SLOB reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement across demand planning processes and systems.
