Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a Deli Assistant Manager to support the Deli Department’s day-to-day operations at Angle Vale, SA. The role reports to the Deli Manager and involves leading a team, ensuring product availability, and delivering excellent customer service.

The position is permanent, part-time (25 hours per week) with shift patterns Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and alternate weekend rosters. On-site training and staff discounts are available.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Deli Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring full availability of products, and a high level of service to our customers.

Some of the key tasks include supporting the Department Manager with leading and coaching the team, ensuring inventory management compliance and accurate stock levels, merchandising, generating rosters and much more!

This is a permanent part-time position starting at 25 hours per week.

Availability Requirements

• Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm
• Fortnightly rotation of a Saturday or Sunday shift
• Ability to be flexible during periods of team leave.
• A willingness to support nearby stores if required.
