Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Test Lead to support a major Defence modernisation program delivering next-generation C4 capability for the Australian Defence Force.

Working within a complex system-of-systems environment, you will establish and lead program-level integration and testing activities across capability development and delivery. The role requires 5+ years in Systems Engineering in Defence contexts, strong stakeholder engagement, and Australian citizenship

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required; Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Systems, ICT, Networking or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in complex Defence/defence-industry environments.
• Experience across lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, verification and acceptance.
• Experience supporting large Defence acquisition or sustainment programs.
• Australian Citizenship and active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, verification and test capability development activities.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation across the capability lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and input into acquisition and delivery contracts.
• Support Government submissions and technical decision-making activities.
• Facilitate workshops to define user, system and operational requirements.
• Review and manage engineering changes per Defence governance.
• Support Test & Evaluation activities, certification and acceptance processes.
• Provide systems engineering advice to ensure capability outcomes meet Defence standards.
