Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Canberra is seeking a highly motivated Project Support Officer to join the LAND 4140 Battle Management System program.

The role supports the Integration Project Manager and Deputy PMO across governance, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement to deliver critical defence capability. Ideal candidates have Defence or government experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to manage priorities while delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex Defence or government environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and briefs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations, reports, briefs, correspondence, and executive submissions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and tracking using MS Project.
• Assist with project governance activities, including board reporting.
• Establish and maintain business processes to support effective project delivery and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Defence stakeholders, suppliers, and the system integrator to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Monitor project activities and support management of risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support quality assurance and adherence to project standards.
