Job summary

The Design Technology Company in Melbourne seeks a Project Coordinator to drive delivery on multiple engineering projects. You will ensure quotes align with scope, staffing matches needs, and projects stay on time and within budget, reporting to the owners.

Defence sector experience is strongly preferred. You will collaborate with engineers and our BDM to capture scope early and minimize delays, with a clear path toward a future Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in project coordination, project engineering or project administration, ideally in engineering, design, manufacturing or defence
• Technical grounding to read a scope of work and question if a quote matches it
• Experience tracking hours, budgets and schedules, and managing resource allocation across multiple concurrent jobs
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline security clearance

Responsibilities

• Track every active project against its schedule and milestones, and flag risks early
• Run regular project check-ins with engineering and keep owners and clients informed on progress
• Chase inputs, client data, approvals and decisions to prevent delays
