Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for a permanent, full-time role based in Canberra or Brisbane. The role requires active NV1 Defence Security Clearance and delivers leadership for mission systems delivery and support services under a robust program framework.

You will manage day-to-day leadership of the support team, ensure delivery against the statement of work, and coordinate with Commonwealth elements of the system to guarantee successful integration and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience delivering and managing projects from initiation to implementation.
• Proven ability to lead project delivery balancing scope, schedule, risks, resources, and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• PRINCE2/PMBOK/Agile qualifications.
• Defence project experience with ASDEFCON familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery in accordance with governance frameworks.
• Manage project deliverables within scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, implementing corrective actions.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and contingencies.
• Oversee resources, administration, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with project assurance and stakeholders to maintain integrity and alignment.
• Conduct reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
