Job summary

Atturra Advisory is seeking a Training Consultant to engage with Defence and government projects in Canberra, delivering learning strategies and solutions. The role includes developing curricula, content, and change activities to support adoption of new concepts and systems.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in end-to-end L&D, experience in Defence environments is valued, and strong communication skills. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in end-to-end learning and development, training delivery and/or change management.
• Experience managing Learning & Development projects OR experience in Defence environments.
• Superior verbal communication skills.
• Superior written skills coupled with attention to detail.
• Strong team player, flexible and able to effectively manage conflicting demands.
• Ability to interact with individuals and groups at all levels within Atturra and customer organisations.
• Minimum CIV Training and Assessment; tertiary L&D, HR or Communications qualifications highly regarded.
• Experience with SADL and Defence Learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse learning needs, develop curriculum, create engaging content that suits the needs of the audience.
• Work alongside subject matter experts, clients and other stakeholders to ensure the training goals are met.
• Revises content, ongoing course development, as necessary.
• Facilitate face to face and online training using interactive training techniques.
• Maintain awareness of training delivery calendar by developing agendas, timelines, and content flow as necessary to deliver effective training to end users.
• Provide system and application knowledge, methodology expertise and/or industry knowledge.
• Build and maintain client relationships by consistently delivering exceptional services.
• Provide status reports, issue identification and problem solving.
