Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Learning & Development professional to coordinate and deliver operational and accredited training for our guarding workforce and client stakeholders. You will report to the General Manager in the Defence portfolio and drive exceptional customer service, proactive learning strategies, and responsive learning interventions.

This role can be based in ACT, NSW or VIC state offices, with regular travel required to client sites and other offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
• Knowledge of security, defence or similar industries.
• Strong administrative skills to develop learning materials that are professional in presentation, appealing to the learner and easy to use.
• Experience developing competency frameworks.
• Capacity to produce visually appealing, easy to interpret reporting.

Responsibilities

• Consult with operational leaders to determine learning priorities.
• Develop and maintain a national training calendar including partnerships with local RTOs.
• Develop custom, client/site specific training tools and resources for delivery by operational staff.
• Coach and develop others in applying adult learning concepts.
• Manage multiple online learning systems.
