Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a Training Manager, Learning and Development or Defence training role.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of SADL.
• Experience in instructional design, training development and competency-based assessment.
• Ability to interpret technical information and develop effective training solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting Defence equipment introduction or capability development activities (highly desirable).
• Relevant qualifications in training and assessment, instructional design, learning and development or a related discipline (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage training activities for the introduction of new Defence equipment and systems.
• Apply the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) to training analysis, design, development and evaluation.
• Collaborate with OEMs and technical specialists to translate technical information into training requirements and learning materials.
• Develop and review competency-based training and assessment products.
• Support training governance, planning, reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate stakeholders and manage training risks, dependencies and delivery requirements.
