Job summary

MSS Security is seeking a Training Coordinator to oversee the delivery of operational and accredited training for guarding staff and client stakeholders. You will report to the General Manager within the Defence portfolio and drive proactive learning strategies and responsive interventions.

The role may be based in ACT, NSW or VIC offices with regular travel. You will collaborate with operational leaders, develop a national training calendar, and create client-specific training tools for

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
• Knowledge of security, defence or similar industries.
• Strong administrative skills to develop learning materials that are professional in presentation, appeal to the learner and easy to use.
• Capacity to produce visually appealing, easy to interpret reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver operational and accredited training to guarding workforce and client stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a national training calendar with local RTO partnerships.
• Create custom client/site specific training tools and resources for delivery by staff.
• Coach and develop others in adult learning concepts.
• Manage multiple online learning systems.

About the role

This position is responsible for coordination and delivery of operational and accredited training primarily to the guarding workforce but also to client stakeholders and third parties. Reporting into the General Manager within the growing Defence portfolio, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, proactive learning strategy and responsive learning interventions.

This role can be based in ACT, NSW or VIC state offices with a willingness to travel on a regular basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Consultation with operational leaders to determine learning priorities
• Development and maintenance of a national training calendar including partnerships with local RTOs
• Development of custom, client / site specific training tools and resources for delivery by operational staff
• Capacity to coach and develop others in the application of adult learning concepts
• Management of multiple online learning systems
