Job summary

KBR is seeking a Project Manager in Canberra to oversee all phases of planning and execution for small client projects within LAND1508. You will manage from inception to service introduction, coordinating with the Melbourne office and the SOGC to ensure alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Project Management (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of related project management experience.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organisation, and coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
• Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
• All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
• Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to enhance overall project efficiency.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and other relevant records.
• Possess a strong understanding of the respective industry, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Apply industry knowledge to enhance project outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement.
