Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking a Dayforce WFM Lead to spearhead the configuration, deployment and ongoing optimisation of the Dayforce WFM platform in Sydney. You will own workforce management capabilities, drive enhancements, and partner with HR, Payroll, IT and Operations to deliver scalable solutions.

• Lead the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of the Dayforce WFM platform.

• Drive system enhancements, process improvements, and WFM transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations to translate requirements into solutions.
• Oversee testing and deployment activities, including UAT and integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable, scalable fixes.

Job description

We are currently partnering with a well-regarded organisation to appoint a Dayforce Lead to lead and drive the optimisation of their Dayforce WFM platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Dayforce WFM specialist with strong functional expertise to take ownership of workforce management capabilities, lead system enhancements, and work closely with key stakeholders to deliver effective, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of the Dayforce WFM platform.
• Manage workforce scheduling, time and attendance, timesheets, work rules, and pay policies.
• Drive system enhancements, process improvements, and WFM transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Oversee functional testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Ensure accurate integration between WFM and payroll processes.
• Provide functional leadership, guidance, and support to stakeholders and end users.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system performance, and enhance the overall workforce management experience.

About You

• Proven experience in a Dayforce WFM Lead, Senior Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce WFM configuration and functionality.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, time and attendance, timesheets, and workforce management processes.
• Experience supporting or leading Dayforce implementations, enhancements, and system optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of WFM and payroll integration requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
• Experience with workforce compliance, awards, or enterprise agreements will be highly regarded.
