Job summary

CSIRO is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Data Modernisation Program, helping govern, manage and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You will work with project managers, IMT teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance, planning and documentation.

The role offers flexible/hybrid working options and a specified-term contract until June 2028, with the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide data sharing and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a program or PMO coordination role in a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to support governance, reporting and program controls (schedules, RAID, minutes).
• Strong relationship-building skills with project teams and business areas.
• Clear and audience-appropriate documentation, reporting and meeting materials.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program governance activities (agendas, papers, minutes, decisions).
• Support planning and controls: milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Prepare timely program reports and documentation for decision-making.
• Maintain accurate program information and records across CSIRO systems.
• Support financial reporting, benefits tracking and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with project teams and stakeholders for coordinated outcomes.
• Coordinate discrete work and small initiatives per CSIRO practices.
• Maintain program records in systems such as O2D and Altus.
