Job summary

Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation seeks a Program Coordinator to support data governance and delivery across CSIRO's Data Modernisation Program. You will work with PMs, IMT delivery teams and stakeholders to coordinate governance, planning, reporting and records management.

Location remains flexible with hybrid options. Tenure is a specified term through June 2028, and the role involves building effective relationships, managing schedules and ensuring transparent

Qualifications

• Experience in a program or PMO coordination role within a large organisation.
• Ability to support governance, reporting and program controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project/delivery methodologies (e.g., Prince2, MSP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program governance activities: agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking.
• Support planning and controls: milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Prepare timely program reporting and decision-ready documentation.
• Maintain records, registers and a lessons log for transparency and auditability.
• Support financial reporting, benefits tracking and continuous improvement.
• Foster relationships with project teams, stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Coordinate discrete pieces of work in line with CSIRO practices.
• Maintain program information across CSIRO systems such as O2D and Altus.
