Job summary

Federal Government client (agency undisclosed) in Campbell, ACT, is seeking three APS3-equivalent data entry contractors for a 19-week labour-hire engagement. Work is on-site only at Campbell with a pay rate of 50–60 AUD per hour, including super.

Start proposed 16 November 2026, with NV1 clearance required and Australian citizenship. Responsibilities include processing survey data, entering data into approved formats and maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High-volume manual data entry with strong accuracy requirements.
• Check, validate and correct data rather than simply entering it.
• Carefully work from paper forms, source documents and documented procedures.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Organise repetitive, high-volume work to meet fixed timeframes.
• Handle sensitive information in line with privacy and security requirements.
• Australian citizen.
• Must hold a current NV1 clearance or above.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret handwritten and printed survey responses.
• Extract required data using provided rules and data dictionaries.
• Enter survey data accurately into approved electronic formats.
• Identify incomplete, illegible or ambiguous responses and escape them.
• Apply consistent formatting and maintain data integrity.
• Perform self-checking and peer-review quality assurance.
• Validate records, reconcile discrepancies and correct errors.
• Report volumes processed, completion rates and emerging issues.
• Handle sensitive information through approved systems and processes.
