Job summary

Bundoora Primary School, part of the State Government of Victoria, seeks qualified classroom teachers to implement Literacy and Numeracy programs and contribute to school priorities. You will plan, prepare and teach to achieve student outcomes, with mentoring and involvement in school policy development.

The role includes teaching diverse cohorts, collaborating with families, and participating in professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Qualifications

• Must have provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• If completed Australian postgraduate initial teaching program after 1 January 2024, must demonstrate accreditation compliance.
• Graduate or complete LANTITE requirements if post-2016 graduation.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
