Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Service Technician to support live data centre operations across power, cooling and fire systems, ensuring reliability and safety in a high‑availability environment.

We welcome hands‑on backgrounds in electrical, HVAC or industrial trades and provide CDC Academy training, hands‑on mentorship, and a 24/7 shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) to support career growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, HVAC or industrial environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and responding to alarms across power, cooling, and fire systems.
• Carrying out physical inspections to ensure equipment operates within defined parameters.
• Responding to faults and incidents, prioritising actions and escalation as needed.
• Executing operational switching and control activities to prevent unplanned outages.
• Supporting planned maintenance and coordinating with on-site contractors.
• Documenting incidents and maintenance activities for continuous improvement.
