Mott MacDonald is seeking a strategic, commercially driven Data Centre Market Leader to grow our Data Centres business across Australia and New Zealand. Located in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, the role shapes national growth, builds relationships with influential clients, and unites multidisciplinary expertise to deliver high-value projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading major data centre projects, programmes or portfolios.
• Established relationships within the Australian data centre market.
• Strong track record delivering growth strategies and winning major projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Australia and New Zealand growth strategy and annual business plan.
• Build relationships across the data centre ecosystem, including hyperscalers, developers, operators and investors.
• Identify priority opportunities and lead major pursuits, bids and capture strategies.
• Act as Project Principal on strategically significant projects, supporting successful delivery and enduring client partnerships.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership across power, water, resilience, sustainability, approvals and speed-to-operation.
• Bring together sectors and disciplines to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Strengthen our value proposition, go-to-market approach and industry positioning.
• Grow a high-performing Data Centres community and leverage our global network to build local capability.
