Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Business Development Manager (QLD/NT/Data Centres) to drive growth within the Australian data centre market. The role requires building strong relationships with operators, EPCs, contractors and integrators while delivering revenue and margin objectives.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage quotes and tenders, and develop technically and commercially competitive solutions for data centre clients across QLD, NT, and national markets.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business/economics are preferred.
• 5–10 years of managerial experience in business development across multiple sectors.
• Strong understanding of the data centre market and its dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy aligned with sales and margin objectives.
• Manage a strong pipeline of quotes, tenders and projects across QLD/NT and national data centre market.
• Build relationships with End Users like hyperscale, colocation and enterprise operators.
• Engage EPCs, contractors, installers, distributors and systems integrators.
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations, product briefings, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate internal resources to support quotations, samples, and project delivery.
