Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Australia is seeking a Cost Manager to help ensure project costs are effectively managed. This role offers travel to client sites and collaboration with design teams.

You will prepare cost estimates, support pre-contract activities, document meetings, and maintain change and invoice logs. The position offers a flexible work arrangement, with a mix of remote, onsite at clients or in an Accenture office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in: Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, Project Management, Finance / Accounting
• 0-2 years of experience
• Project Management Experience
• Team player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
• Organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cost Manager in ensuring project costs are effectively managed.
• Occasionally travel to client sites to attend required client meetings.
• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans, incorporating benchmarking data for review.
• Participate in design team meetings, assess cost implications, and help implement agreed outcomes.
• Contribute to pre-contract process meetings by providing cost-related insights.
• Attend client meetings with senior colleagues and document key discussion points and action items.
• Prepare and manage change order logs, invoice logs, and detailed cost reports.
• Oversee measurements and pricing research for development appraisals and qualification reviews.
• Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
