Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm providing cost management, project management and consultancy services across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources in Australia.

We seek experienced Cost Managers to deliver accurate cost estimates, procurement, tendering and post-contract cost control, working with clients and stakeholders to turn project challenges into successful outcomes. Strong English communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• MRICS or AIQS accreditation ideal.
• Relevant work experience, ideally in consultancy.
• CostX proficiency advantageous.
• Attention to detail; team player; able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-contract QS duties including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations and final accounts.
• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
• Tendering and procuring, including managing pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis and reports.
• Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• Additional cost checks and valuations on larger projects to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
