Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking a Security Engineer (Presales) in Sydney to work closely with the Sales Team, design and present security solutions, and guide customers through complex cyber challenges. You will lead technical engagements, deliver Proof-of-Value workshops, and showcase Check Point's portfolio to protect client environments.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering/pre-sales, a degree in a relevant field, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and Check Point Gateways or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; teamwork in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Team to tailor Check Point solutions for customers' cyber security needs.
• Provide expert advice based on Check Point best practices to customers.
• Lead technical engagements, answer questions, and manage Proof-of-Value and cyber workshops.
• Demonstrate the full portfolio to protect organizations from threats and secure operations.
• Drive meetings to identify problems and propose appropriate solutions.
• Support responses to RFIs and RFPs with bid teams.
