Job summary

Aon plc is hiring a Business Development Manager for Specialty Solutions in Sydney. The role focuses on Cyber and Financial Lines, building a robust client universe, generating qualified leads, and driving cross-sell opportunities across Aon’s product lines.

The position is full-time and hybrid, with opportunities to work virtually and from the Sydney offices. The role requires a proven B2B sales track record, strong C-suite communication, and the ability to thrive in a competitive RFP

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B business development/lead generation in financial lines or financial services.
• Ability to research markets, generate qualified leads and build a pipeline.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executives.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced RFP/tender environment and collaborating with Bid management teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business budgets for the Specialty Solutions segment.
• Develop a broad universe of potential clients via market planning and research.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and share leads across Aon.
• Engage with prospects via cold-calling, insight selling, and networking to generate qualified leads.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across Aon’s product/service lines.
• Coordinate with Bid Management & Growth Operations on opportunities.
• Represent Aon in the business community and participate in tender processes.
