Job summary

BlueScope Steel Limited's Lysaght business in Archerfield, QLD, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team. You will be the face of our business for customers, handling orders, providing product and pricing advice, and managing enquiries received via phone and email.

You will collaborate with warehouse and sales to meet customer expectations, and continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience in a busy, iconic Australian manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a customer service/sales environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
• Willingness to grow, learn, and develop yourself.
• Demonstrated computer competency including accurate data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via phone and email, managing a variety of enquiries, quotes and order requests.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, packaging, and delivery timetables.
• Continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition.
