Job summary

InfraBuild ARC Metalcentre in Mildura is seeking a hands-on Customer Service & Warehouse Assistant to join our team. You will handle enquiries, quotes, order processing, and support picking, packing and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.

The role suits a proactive, customer-focused individual who can work across tools and ERP systems while maintaining a safe, organised workspace. The position runs 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with benefits including paid parental leave, health insurance

Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our ARC Metalcentre in Mildura, you will work closely with customers and the warehouse team. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment and delivery.

This is a varied role that combines customer service and warehouse support, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being hands-on when required.

What you will be doing:

• Respond to incoming calls and customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare quotations and manage orders through to accurate picking, packing, and on-time delivery
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide value-based solutions
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

The working hours for this role are 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

What you will bring:

We are seeking a team player who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and is equally comfortable supporting warehouse tasks when needed. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude.

• Experience in customer service, ideally within a trade counter, industrial, manufacturing, or hardware environment
• Strong face-to-face and phone-based customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with regular customers
• Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach with a willingness to learn
• Comfortable working across both customer service and warehouse duties, including some manual handling
• Experience with Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
