Job summary

Direct Plasterboard Outlet is seeking a Customer Service Officer for our Fyshwick store. You will deliver outstanding service, handle orders, and support sales with product information and pricing. Teamwork and confidentiality are essential as you help maintain records and assist with inventory to reach sales targets.

Ideal candidates will have prior customer service experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; plasterboard knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Desirable knowledge of plasterboard/building products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and requests.
• Handle customer orders, including processing, tracking, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate product information and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and liaising with the warehouse team.
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
