Job summary

Shire of Murray’s MALC in Pinjarra is seeking a casual Customer Service Officer to welcome centre members and customers at reception, and to provide support with memberships, tours, inductions and sales. The role also covers kiosk sales, stock handling and bookings, plus other administrative tasks.

The position emphasizes friendly service, solid administrative skills and good time management. It is an EBA Level 3 role with an hourly rate of 43.31 AUD, including 25% casual loading and penalties

About the Role

The MALC is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team on a casual basis. We are seeking an applicant with a love of all things recreation, good administration and time management skills, and a friendly and happy personality. This Customer Service Officer role is primarily serving Centre members and customers at reception, as well as undertaking additional duties including but not limited to delivering membership tours, inductions and sales, kiosk sales and assisting with stock processes, assisting with bookings and various administrative support tasks. This is an EBA Level 3 position with an hourly rate of $43.31 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading), with additional penalties.

Hours of Work

Week 1 Monday 2:30pm - 7:30pm Friday 5:30am - 11:30am Sunday 8:45am - 1:00pm Week 2 Monday 2:30pm - 7:30pm Friday 8:30am - 11:30am Sunday 8:45am - 1:00pm Additional hours are available for leave coverage and Dry Operations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The successful applicant will have excellent communication, customer service and administration skills, with demonstrated knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
