Job summary

The Shire of Murray is seeking a Casual Duty Supervisor for the Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre. You will be responsible for supervising pool areas, ensuring safety and excellent customer service across seven days, including weekends and evenings.

Applicants should hold LIWA Pool Operator and RLSSA Lifeguard qualifications, with First Aid/CPR. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential to support daily operations and deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

The Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre has a wide range of facilities and offers an extensive range of sport, recreation and leisure programs to the general public, schools, clubs and organisations within the Shire of Murray.

The Shire of Murray is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Duty Supervisor on a casual basis. Working at the Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre, the successful applicant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Murray Leisure Centre and provide high levels of customer supervision, safety and education, while ensuring customers achieveand enjoy high levels of service. As the Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre is open seven days a week, hours of work may be rostered from Monday to Sunday inclusive (including early morning and evening work).

Key Duties

• Monitor pool log and log conditions and take corrective action as required.


• Assist in maintaining the facility and grounds in a clean and safe condition.


• Oversee the day-to-day management and smooth running of all Murray Leisure Centre services.
