Job summary

Myer Cairns is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead daily department operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving team performance across multiple departments.

You will champion Myer strategy, oversee daily operations, and inspire your team through coaching, development and strong leadership. This 12 month contract role offers growth opportunities within Myer.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Retail Manager, Area Manager or similar in a retail/department store environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach a team to meet KPIs and drive performance.
• Strong customer service focus with a commercial mindset and retail operations understanding.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

As a Customer Service Manager at Myer Cairns you'll lead the delivery of exceptional customer experiences while driving team performance across multiple departments. You'll champion the Myer strategy, oversee daily operations, and inspire your team through coaching, development and strong leadership.

About The Role:

• Lead and manage daily department operations to drive customer satisfaction and financial performance
• Inspire and develop your team through effective coaching, feedback, and recognition
• Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture by role modelling service excellence
• Maximise team productivity through smart workforce planning and task delegation
• Spend quality time on the floor to lead by example and gain valuable customer insights

About You:

• Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Area Manager or similar, ideally in Retail or Department Store environment
• Strong people leadership skills with a 'hands-on', collaborative approach
• Demonstrated ability to drive team performance, meet KPIs and manage performance effectively
• Customer focused with superior customer service skills
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail operations
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
