Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is seeking a proactive freight forwarding professional in NSW to own a dedicated client portfolio and build strong, multi-level relationships with major brands.

You will coordinate import/export sea shipments, quote rates, and liaise with clients, carriers and the global partner network, delivering timely updates and tailored solutions within a busy, high-volume operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in freight forwarding or shipping.
• Experience in customer service or sales support in freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients and build strong relationships across their organisations.
• Provide expert support on import and export sea cargo, including quoting and rate sourcing.
• Coordinate international shipments end to end on behalf of customers.
• Liaise confidently with clients, carriers, and the global partner network.
• Work with the Cargo Development team to tailor solutions and deliver timely updates.

You will

Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients and build strong relationships across their organisations

Provide expert support on import and export sea cargo, including quoting and rate sourcing

Coordinate international shipments end to end on behalf of customers

Liaise confidently with clients, carriers, and the global partner network

Work closely with the Cargo Development team to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions

You have

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a genuine passion for customer service

A proven background in customer service or sales support within freight forwarding

Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding or shipping

Strong organisational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build strong client relationships
