Job summary

Coates Hire is seeking a customer-focused team member at our Albert Park branch for a permanent full-time role. You will support customers in person, over the phone and via email, and help with schedules, quotes and invoicing.

The position offers steady on-site work, a Monday–Friday schedule with alternating shifts and a path for career progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing high-volume environments.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers in person, over the phone and via email.
• Preparing hire schedules, quotes, and invoicing.
• Allocating equipment and liaising with the workshop.
• Coordinating deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs and breakdowns.
• Occasionally assisting in the yard with loading equipment.
• Liaising with suppliers to support customer needs.

As the first point of contact for customers at our Albert Park branch, your number one goal is to ensure our customers receive the best possible service with their equipment solutions, while contributing to a reliable and high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing
