Medibank Private Limited in Coffs Harbour is launching a BRAND NEW store and seeks part-time Local Community Consultants to join the team. The role offers a flexible 30-hour week, hybrid work, and a rotating roster with some Saturday shifts.

As the face of Medibank locally, you will help customers choose health cover, support across in-store, phone, online and community channels, and build trusted relationships while delivering personalised support.

About the role

We have an BRAND NEW store opening in Coffs Harbour and we are looking for part time superstars to join the team!! We have part-time (30 hours per week) hybrid opportunities for Customer Service and Sales Consultant to join us. This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. The working hours rotate between 8am - 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you will :

Help customers choose the right health cover and services.

Support them across multiple channels - in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.

Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.

Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.

Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, y ou will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams , with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepening trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.

What we're looking for

You don't need health insurance experience - we'll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition to our team.

You are :

Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.

Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.

A team player who i s adaptable and proactive.

Detail-focused and committed to protecting customer privacy.

What you'll get

Salary: $63,660 (pro-rata for part-time hours) + 12% super + monthly incentives.
