Medibank is seeking a part-time Local Community Consultant for our Charlestown store. This hybrid role combines in-store customer service with community engagement, across flexible rotating hours and some work-from-home shifts.

You will help customers choose health cover, support them across channels, and build trusted relationships through personalised conversations. No prior health insurance experience required; training provided.

About the role

We have a part-time (30 hours per week) hybrid opportunity for a Customer Service and Sales Consultant at our Charlestown store. This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. The working hours rotate between 8am - 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you will:

Help customers choose the right health cover and services.

Support them across multiple channels - in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.

Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.

Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.

Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, you will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams, with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.
