Hunter Express, a nationwide Australian transport and logistics company, is seeking a customer service professional for a weekday schedule with two remote workdays per week after training. The role involves handling inbound calls, responding to enquiries, and supporting delivery and freight tracking with accurate updates.
You will liaise with depots and operations and maintain precise notes throughout. Training is comprehensive, with potential for a performance-based bonus.
You'll be responsible for assisting customers across both inbound phone calls and customer enquiry tickets. You'll work Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm with 2 work-from-home days per week after training and competency sign-off.
Taking inbound customer service calls
Processing and responding to customer enquiry tickets
Assisting with delivery, tracking and freight enquiries
Investigating enquiries and providing accurate updates
Liaising with our depot and operational teams
Maintaining accurate customer and consignment notes
Previous customer service or freight/transport experience is essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A confident and professional phone manner
Fast and accurate typing skills
Excellent spelling and grammar
Strong computer and problem-solving skills
Good attention to detail and organisation
The ability to handle customer complaints professionally

$37.50 per hour casual rate
