Job summary

CSE Crosscom is seeking a proactive Administrator to join our team and help keep the branch running smoothly in Australia. You’ll be the friendly face of the business, supporting customers and liaising with Sales, Service, Operations and Procurement teams.

The role emphasizes reception, call-handling, and day-to-day administration with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation and customer service under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous reception and call-handling experience – essential
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience in customer service or another customer-focused environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage deadlines
• The confidence to be assertive and follow things through when required
• A flexible, adaptable attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
• The ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional approach
• Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• The initiative and confidence to work autonomously and take ownership
• A personable and approachable style, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business
• Experience in accounts administration, sales administration, logistics, inventory or ERP systems will be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and managing reception
• Answering, screening and directing incoming calls

• Processing sales orders, quotes, returns and customer documentation
• Assisting with goods receipting, picking, packing and dispatch
• Maintaining accurate records, stock information and ERP system updates
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, freight providers and other branches
• Following up orders and keeping customers and Account Managers updated on delivery timeframes
• Supporting service and warranty administration
• Assisting with stock takes, transfers and inventory administration
• Helping identify opportunities to improve processes and the way we work

We’re looking for a proactive, personable and organised Administrator to join our team and play an important role in keeping our branch running smoothly.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be the friendly face of the business, supporting customers and visitors while working closely with our Sales, Service, Operations and Procurement teams.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be at the heart of the branch, providing a combination of administration, customer service and operational support, including:

• Welcoming visitors and managing reception
