Job summary

OMICRON electronics Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a customer support and order fulfilment professional in Melbourne. You will handle enquiries, support the end-to-end purchase journey, and coordinate with sales, operations and the Austrian fulfilment team.

The role requires experience in order processing, freight coordination, invoicing, and knowledge of incoterms. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Dynamics ERP/CRM are desirable. Hybrid work is offered after training.

Qualifications

• Office-based sales support and order fulfilment experience.
• Experience in order processing, freight coordination and invoicing in an international context.
• Knowledge of customs topics and incoterms.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries via email and phone.
• Work with sales and operations to support the customer purchase journey from quotation to order to delivery to invoice.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders.
• Communicate with customers regarding orders, confirmations, delivery and invoicing.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Austrian order fulfilment team.
• Maintain and improve data quality in the CRM and keep accurate system notes.
• Support the sales team in opportunity management and lead follow-up (no cold calling).
• Assist customers to access the OMICRON Customer Portal.
• Handle customer payment processes, including credit and collection discussions.
• Provide back-up to the CSS team in other processes (product servicing and training).
• Participate in team meetings and goal setting, identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Work closely with sales team to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders
• Communication with customers regarding orders, confirmations, delivery and invoicing
• Maintain a close working relationship with our Austrian order fulfilment team
