Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for a casual role at the Cairns City location. You will be the face of the brand, handling rental transactions, bookings, and inquiries while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

You’ll promote the Avis Budget Group brand, prepare contracts, and ensure vehicles are clean and inspected for damages. A valid driver’s licence and flexibility across 3–4 days per week are essential.

Qualifications

• Full and valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Availability to work on a rotating roster across 3–4 days per week.
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.
• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face, promoting the Avis Budget Group brand.
• Completing rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles according to company standards.
• Inspecting vehicles for any damages that occurred during the previous rentals.

About the Role
