Job summary

West Beach Parks in West Beach, Adelaide, is seeking a friendly Golf Pro Shop Assistant to support guests and daily retail operations, including tee bookings, cart hire, payments, and stock control.

You will join a diverse team on a 7-day roster with flexible hours, receive specialised training on Trackman Range and latest golf technology, and enjoy a welcoming, inclusive workplace with health initiatives and employee perks. Uniforms are supplied and onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

• You are a positive, well presented and enthusiastic person who loves interacting with customers and the team.
• Ideally you have experience in face-to-face customer service roles as well as an understanding of and passion for golf.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating tee times and bookings
• Handling guest special requests, issues and complaints in a pleasant and level headed manner
• Managing hire equipment/golf carts and retail shop sales
• Responsibility for the drinks/marshall cart
• Credit card/cash handling

The Role….

Reporting to the Golf Pro Shop Manager you will be responsible for attending to all guests needs during their visit as well as daily operations of the retail shop and ensuring the guest achieves maximal satisfaction from their pro-shop experience. Duties will also include:

• Handling guest special requests, issues and complaints in a pleasant and level headed manner
• Managing hire equipment/golf carts and retail shop sales
• Responsibility for the drinks/marshall cart
• Credit card/cash handling
• General administration.
• Coffee making

Hours and shifts are varied over a 7-day roster based on the operational requirements of the Golf Pro Shop. You will be required to be available to work any hours and days as requested.
