Job summary

VAE Group is seeking a results-driven leader to head the Townsville customer account operations. You will oversee a team of HVAC Service Technicians, drive branch profitability, and strengthen customer relationships while delivering high-quality service.

You will be responsible for labour productivity, safety, and achieving revenue targets, with opportunities to expand service and project work. Join a company that values growth, teamwork, and trusted partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience within HVAC or mechanical services.
• Focus on safety, quality, accountability and team performance.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent time management, organisation, attention to detail and communication.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
• Trade background is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labour productivity, profitability and branch performance.
• Partner with the Regional Manager to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction.
• Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach and support a team of HVAC Service Technicians.
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and deliver service levels.
• Build trusted customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional service and project work.
• Review quotations, job orders, timesheets, invoices and service documentation.

Your day to day looks like

• Monitoring labour productivity, profitability and branch performance
• Partnering with the Regional Manager NQ & CQ to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction targets
• Championing safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Leading, coaching and supporting a team of HVAC Service Technicians
• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and deliver agreed service levels
• Building trusted customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional service and project work
• Reviewing quotations, job orders, timesheets, invoices and service documentation
