Job summary

Chandler Macleod partners with a federal agency to recruit a Cultural Safety Learning Lead who will develop and deliver culturally safe learning across the workforce, engaging First Nations communities and supporting strategic workforce objectives.

The role will design, implement, and evaluate learning programs, provide strategic advice to senior leaders, and manage governance, reporting, and risk in a complex government setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with First Nations communities, organisations, or networks.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering workplace learning or capability programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proven project or program management experience, including planning, delivery, reporting, and risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level documentation.
• Ability to provide strategic advice and influence decision-making.
• Experience in complex government/public sector environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of cultural safety learning programs.
• Manage workplace capability initiatives that support strategic workforce objectives.
• Coordinate the delivery of facilitated and self-paced learning programs.
• Engage with First Nations communities, organisations, and stakeholders to support culturally safe outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers, submissions, and other documentation.
• Lead project planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management activities.
• Represent the Agency at meetings and stakeholder engagements.
