Job summary

UnitingCare Community is seeking a Service Leader for 13YARN in Brisbane. This full-time role is a maximum-term position until 30 June 2027, with hybrid work arrangements and hourly remuneration of $58.37 plus super and NFP salary packaging.

You will lead a team delivering culturally safe crisis support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, with Laline training and rostering oversight. You will oversee operations, coaching, budgeting and stakeholder engagement, driving continuous

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams in crisis support, mental health or not-for-profit sectors.
• Experience in budgets, reporting and service performance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Current QLD Driver Licence and Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Brisbane-based service.
• Provide supervision, coaching and performance support to team members.
• Coordinate recruitment, training and rostering activities.
• Plan and deliver learning and development programs.
• Train and assess staff in Lifeline-accredited training.
• Monitor service performance, reporting and quality outcomes.
• Manage risk, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Support budget monitoring and operational planning.
• Build strong relationships with community, government and sector stakeholders.
• Drive a positive, values-based, high-performing team culture.
